What is the single vision?

INDEX CR39

CR39 is a type of resin lens material used in optical glasses and sunglasses. The monomer is allyl diglycol carbonate. It is lightweight, impact-resistant, and has a high Abbe value, which means it has low levels of chromatic aberration (color distortion) and provides good visual clarity.CR-39 lenses are also relatively affordable compared to other lens materials, making them a popular choice for prescription and non-prescription eyewear. People most like to use it to make optical glasses ,sunglasses and polarized lens.

INDEX 1.56

Index 1.56 optical lens ,materail is Korea UNO-55 ,this is resin material , the power range is higher than CR39 ,22% thinner than Cr-39 lenses. They can make spherical and aspheric lenses, the AR coating on the surface will protect eyes to avoid UV harmful light and easy to clean. This index is cost-effective so that widely used by customers all over the world.

MR SERIES(1.61/1.67/1.74)

Excellent optical materials with high refractive index, high Abbe number, low specific gravity and high impact resistance are provided by polymerizing monomers of MR™ Series. MR™ Series offers 3 different refractive index products (e.g 1.60, 1.67, 1.74). With higher index materials, it is possible to achieve thinner lenses with the same strength.MR™ Series is especially suitable for ophthalmic lenses and is known as the first based high index lens material. If your prescription is high and you need thinner lens or your frame is rimless, you can consider these, you don't feel like they're pressing on your nose while you're wearing them.

What is in your single vision prescription?

The single vision prescription consists of a sphere (SPH), cylinder (CYL), and axis.
SV lenses may vary depending on the activity for which the lenses are intended. Single vision lenses are generally recommended for people who need near or distance vision correction only. They are suitable for those who do not experience vision problems at different distances and do not need the smooth transition offered by progressive lenses.
